usually using a CAD program, and then build it using totally
original materials. A booth built by one of these vendors will
be completely unique to your company, and will have such things
as custom display units, customs stages, and custom-built
display panels to ensure that the trade booth fits in totally
with your corporate image and the marketing message that you
wish to transmit to the tradeshow delegates.
The advantages of choosing the
first type of tradeshow equipment vendor is one of cost, since
all the materials needed to build the tradeshow booth will be
readily available in the marketplace. If cost is a concern to
your company, then choosing a vendor who can build a booth using
readily available materials and display equipment may be the
best option. The disadvantage of using this type of vendor is
that the tradeshow booth will not be particularly original.
The advantages of choosing a
tradeshow equipment vendor who will build your tradeshow booth
from scratch is that the booth will be highly original, and will
fit exactly the type of marketing message that your company
wants to send to the tradeshow delegates. The disadvantage is,
however, that this type of tradeshow booth will be very
expensive in comparison with a booth that has been made using
other types of display equipment.
When choosing a vendor, it is
better to make sure that the vendor has a lot of experience in
dealing with the type of industry in which your company works.
It is also worth checking as to what would happen if the
tradeshow booth happens to become damaged. It may be better to
choose a vendor who can repair the booth on site, because if it
needs to be sent back to the manufacturer it could take a long
time and could seriously affect your ability to attend trade
shows for several weeks.
As can be seen, there are
several things which need to be taken into consideration when
choosing a tradeshow equipment vendor, not least the choice of
whether to choose a vendor who builds a tradeshow booth using
someone else's display equipment or to choose a vendor who will
