Organizing a trade show display
booth is a difficult job, but what can make the whole process
easier is to use portable banner stands. With their flexibility
and lightweight construction, a portable banner stand can make
the job of setting up your trade display booth a breeze. The
main types of portable banner stands are the telescoping banner
stand, the retractable stand, the roll up stand, and the tripod
stand. This article will look at these types and discuss some
considerations which should be borne in mind when purchasing a
portable display stand.
The telescoping banner stand is one of the most popular types of
portable stand. It is lightweight and easy to assemble. The
construction consists of a central telescopic rod, which is
extended to pull the graphic banner to the height required. An
advantage of telescopic banner stands are that they can
sometimes be extended to half height so that just the top part
of the graphic is visible, and so can be used as a table top
display stand.
The retractable banner stand is
similar to the telescopic stand, except that in some cases it
may not be as flexible and can only be extended to a fixed
height. The rods are usually part of the package and are made to
suit a particular size of graphic banner. The body is usually
made of aluminum, with a steel banner stand base. The rear pole
will be delivered in sections, either two or three. Most
retractable portable banners come with a case for ease of
portability.
The roll up banner stand is a
great way to display graphics. The graphic is essentially rolled
up inside a case, often a steel case, which doubles as the base
of the graphic stand unit. At the trade show the graphic is
simply unfurled and attached to the rear graphic support pole.
Once the trade show is over, the graphic can simple be rolled
back and packed away in the stand carrying case.
One of the more traditional
portable banners is the tripod banner stand. These tend to be
heavier than the other types, and can be bulky due to the tripod
feet. However, they can offer a very stable banner stand, and
are still lightweight enough to be moved from place to place
easily, and the pole detaches from the tripod stand to make
movement easy.
As can be seen there are
several types of portable display stand, and the type that is
chosen depends on cost, how portable the stand needs to be, and
the size of graphic that needs to be displayed. Take time to do
some research into the various types of portable graphic display
before making a choice that's right for you. |
